Here at Lakeview Doodles we try to ensure that our puppies go to families who are responsible, able to give the puppy a loving and caring home. We know that all puppies (especially ours!) are absolutely adorable, however you need to be able to commit to making your dog a member of your family for many, many years. Please keep in mind that they require regular vet check-ups and vaccinations, a healthy diet, daily exercise, and lots of love and attention. Our application may seem very detailed, but we try very hard to match up the personality of the puppy to the appropriate family. Placement will come about 6 weeks after the puppies are born, by which time we are better able to determine the coat type and personality of the future adult dog.

Once your application has been received we will contact you to set up a convenient time to discuss, by phone, more of the details of what you are looking for in a dog. Upon acceptance, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Please do not send a deposit until your application has been reviewed.

The puppies are selected in the order in which the deposits are received. At that time we will begin to work with the families to match our puppies according to sex, color, coat and most importantly personality preferences. Since we spend much time with each puppy we get to know their individual characteristics which assists us in finding a good match.

Your puppy will leave our home with:

A collar & leash, a blanket from their living area for security, a nylabone, puppy shampoo and an ample supply of food to bridge the adjustment to your selection of food if other than Earthborn Holistic & "Thrive"from The Honest Kitchen, which they are currently on. We do recommend a quality food with no bi-products, corn, wheat or soy should you choose to switch. You will also receive a medical record signed by our vet, along with a record of their dewormer schedule and first vaccination(s).

Each puppy is microchipped and you will be provided with the registration form for this microchip. The puppy also come with a 2 YEAR LIMITED HEALTH GUARANTEE. A signed spay/neuter contract is required, as soon as proof of alteration is received, Lakeview Doodles will issue the Continental Kennel Club (CKC) papers for labradoodle & double doodle puppies and Goldendoodle Association (GANA) papers for goldendoodle puppies.

When purchasing a Lakeview Doodle puppy we do require you to sign a spay/neuter contract.

*** It is our policy that if you have a puppy reserved, he/she must be paid for in full by the age of 6 weeks old.

Picking up, personal delivery or shipping your puppy?

Of course we prefer if all of our puppy families could pick their puppies up in person, but we understand if you can not. Before shipping a puppy on an airplane we like to make every effort to find another way either by meeting you part way or delivering the puppy to your home personally. The areas we deliver to most regularly are Albany, NYC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio and Vermont. Contact us to discuss the fee for this service.

The puppies are ready at 8 weeks of age for their new homes. If you have a puppy reserved and you can not pick him/her up by 9 weeks of age there will be a $25 per day boarding fee.
